Dartronics, Inc. is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer based in the Allentown area to take ownership of a high-growth territory covering Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.

This is a true hunter role. No accounts are handed to you—you are responsible for generating your own opportunities, building your pipeline, and closing business. If you’re looking for inbound leads or a maintenance role, this is not it.

We work directly with manufacturers to improve how their production lines perform—delivering packaging equipment, industrial printing systems, and fully integrated automation solutions.

The Role:
  • You operate like a business owner within your territory.
  • You’ll prospect, open doors, and close deals—working directly with plant managers, operations leaders, and engineers to identify inefficiencies and implement real solutions.
  • If you have experience selling into manufacturing or industrial environments, this is a high-income opportunity.

What You’ll Do:
  • Candidates must be based in the Allentown area and willing to travel throughout PA, NJ, DE, and MD.
  •  Prospect daily (calls, email, LinkedIn, on-site visits).
  •  Build and manage your own pipeline from scratch.
  •  Identify operational gaps and position solutions.
  •  Sell packaging equipment, coding systems, and automation solutions.
  •  Conduct on-site demos and technical presentations.
  •  Work with internal engineering to configure systems. 
  •  Negotiate pricing and close deals.
  •  Attend trade shows and generate new business.
  •  Maintain CRM activity, pipeline, and forecasting.
  •  Support customers post-sale for long-term success.

What You Bring:
  •  Proven outbound sales / hunter experience.
  •  Background in packaging, automation, or industrial equipment sales.
  •  Comfortable selling into manufacturing environments.
  •  Strong communication and closing skills.
  •  Self-driven and competitive mindset.
  •  Ability to manage a territory independently.
  •  Technical aptitude (engineering background is a plus).
  •  CRM experience required.
